Biker Saves Burned, Injured Cat At Truck Stop (Photos)
A biker from California showed his soft side over the weekend. While pulling into a truck stop, he noticed a kitten that was badly burnt and in need of help.
Pat Doody didn’t waste any time, he scooped up the kitten and placed him inside of his jacket. Unable to find a home, Doody decided to keep the cat and took him on the rest of his trip to Nevada. The two quickly bonded and he named his new friend Party Cat.
Opposing Views reports:
“He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest,” he said. Doody then decided to take his new friend along with him on the remainder of his trip. He named the kitten Party Cat, and the two became fast friends.
“He’s so chill,” Doody said. “He just hangs out in my vest when we get on the road. I’ve never met a cat so calm.”
Party Cat now lives with Doody at his home in New Jersey, where he was taken to a vet for treatment and is now happy and healthy.
“His burns are pretty much all healed up except for the little spot on his lip,” the biker said. “We’ve been keeping it clean and using [N]eosporin. It looks a lot better and doesn’t seem to be bothering him.”
