Trump Looking Forward to Taking on Carson
Donald Trump appeared on an episode of ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday. He discussed the Democratic debate and his excitement to take Ben Carson on.
When asked about Carson, Trump made it clear that he would end the ceasefire if he began to gain on him in the polls.
“Probably. At some point, yes, which I actually look forward to doing,” Trump said.
He credited his opponent for his kindness, which forced Trump to treat him with respect.
“Ben is a doctor,” Trump said. “That’s what he’s been doing. The question is, ‘Is he capable of negotiating with China, Russia and Iran?’ And there’s a lot of things that have to do with capacity and experience.”
The Hill reports:
Trump has been goading Carson into taking the first shot as the battle for the Republican presidential nomination heats up.
He said on Sunday he was “all set to go wild” after Carson questioned his faith but refrained after Carson apologized.
In an interview Tuesday with The Hill, Trump refrained from criticizing Carson, responding to a question about whether his rival is qualified to be president by saying, “I don’t want to comment on that now.”
