Republicans’ Expectations High for Trump, Poll Finds

Donald Trump is flying high. In a recent poll, he scored nearly 30 percent more support than Ben Carson, cementing himself as a legitimate candidate that is here to stay.

The latest poll by ABC News/The Washington Post revealed that nearly 42 percent of voters favor Trump. In the same poll, Carson achieved 15 percent, Jeb Bush 12 percent, and Marco Rubio 5 percent.

An additional 47 percent of voters view him as the strongest leader, 39 percent agree with him on immigration, 32 percent relate to him on most issues, and he scored a large amount of second choice votes from participants.
