2016 Field Reacts to Keystone Announcement

President Barack Obama rejected the Keystone XL pipeline deal on Friday.

Environmentalists around the United States were happy with the decision, but as expected, the president’s decision was completely divided on party lines.

Sen. Marco Rubio, John Kasich, and Jeb Bush came out against the announcement, suggesting that the deal was a victory for radical environmentalists and took away jobs, while Sen. Bernie Sanders celebrated the president’s wise choice.

“The Obama Admin’s politically motivated rejection of the Keystone XL Pipeline is a self-inflicted attack on the U.S. economy and jobs,” tweeted Bush.

“It’s just a tug of war between environmentalists and job creators and enviros are winning and if I’m president they’re not gonna win on this,” Kasich told NBC News.
