Palin Weighs in on Starbucks Red Cup ‘Non-Controversy’

Sarah Palin is like a cold that won’t go away, despite weeks of sleeping, drinking hot soup, and taking copious amounts of Nyquil.

Palin offered her commentary on the recent Starbucks “War on Christmas” debacle.

She criticized the left for making an issue out of nothing.

“Some grinches on the Left take things too far in attempts to make all us jolly revelers look ridiculous, lumping us in the same box concerning misplaced outrage over a coffee cup’s non-controversy.”

The Hill reports:

The 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate said that her daughters spent time working as baristas and encouraged followers to “enjoy your festive cuppa’joe.”

Palin included an image of her 2013 book, “Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas,” which focuses on “the true meaning of Christmas.”

Other political figures have weighed in on the coffee company’s sleek red design for its holiday cups, which in previous years have featured reindeer and ornaments.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday floated the idea of boycotting Starbucks, suggesting of its adverting, “No more ‘Merry Christmas’ at Starbucks.”

“Do not buy in to the media hype surrounding this story!!” Bristol Palin wrote on her blog on Monday. “It is just another attempt by the LEFT to make Christians look stupid.”
