Poll: Clinton Now up 19 Points Nationally

Hillary Clinton has increased her lead by 19 points, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

Clinton led Bernie Sanders 52 to 33 percent.

The Hill reports:

Half of Democratic primary voters in the latest poll said it’s too early to say definitively which candidate they will support, but 54 percent of Clinton supporters said their minds are made up while 58 percent of Sanders supporters said they haven’t made a final decision.

Clinton and Sanders will take the stage for the second Democratic debate Saturday night, along with former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who took 5 percent in the latest poll.

Two Democratic candidates dropped out of the race since the last debate on Oct. 13, and since then Vice President Biden also withdrew himself from consideration.

Sanders has ratcheted up his attacks on Clinton in recent weeks over marijuana, the death penalty and other issues in order to draw a contrast with her.

The latest national poll was conducted Nov. 6-10 via landlines and cellphones with 418 Democratic primary voters with a margin of error of 6 points.
