Trump Holds 10 Point Lead Nationally
Donald Trump has jumped to a 10 point national lead, according to the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll.
Trump secured 32 percent of the Republican vote, while Ben Carson came in second with 22 percent and Marco Rubio in third with 11 percent.
The Hill reports:
Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) has 8 percent and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has 6 percent.
No other GOP candidate had more than 4 percent support.
Trump was selected by 13 percent of GOP voters as their second choice.
More than half of voters, 52 percent, listed “Bring needed change to Washington” as the attribute most important to them in supporting a candidate.
Almost half, 47 percent, said Trump would do the best job at bringing that change.
The poll of 373 Republican-leaning registered voters, conducted between Nov. 16-19, has a 6 percent margin of error.
