Poll: Darth Vader Beats Trump, Not Clinton
One day before Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases, Ipsos asked voters who they would choose between Donald Trump, Darth Vader, and Hillary Clinton.
The results? The Sith Lord beat Trump with 27 percent of the vote to Trump’s 18 percent, but Clinton beat them both with 32 percent.
“Luckily for the Presidential hopefuls, Star Wars took place a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away and none of the characters meet the Constitutional requirement of being born in the United States of America, potentially highlighting a weakness in the ‘birther’ argument,” an Ipsos news release said.
The Hill reports:
The online poll was conducted Dec. 10-14 with a sample of 1,005 adults ages 18 and older from the United States.
Statistical margins or error are not applicable to online polls.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens this week.
