A McDonald’s order turned violent in Miami-Dade after a customer pulled out a gun and shot an employee.
The incident took place at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
According to witnesses, the customer became irate over an incorrect order, threatened to kill the worker, and shot him in the arm.
“[They were] talking stupid to each other, then [the suspect] took out the gun and said, ‘I’ll kill you right now,’” witness Wilder Smith told WSVN.
Raw Story reports:
The victim was hit in the arm, but walked away from the hospital and refused treatment, according to reports.
Customer Jorge Martinez said he made a beeline for the bathroom as soon as bullets started flying.
“I busted a left I went straight into the bathroom and I locked myself in,” he told WSVN.
The suspect was taken into custody by police. The McDonald’s restaurant closed, but later reopened. A glass door was shattered by bullets, WSVN reports.
