A Miami-based Barnes & Noble decided to put the two newest books by Trump and Carson in the humor section.
Carson played off the decision, suggesting that it was a joke and not to be taken seriously.
“There are a lot of people, particularly on the other side, who really have a very different philosophy of America,” Carson said during the interview.
“People like me are a real threat to them, and people like Donald Trump are a real threat to them. But you know, the American people are a lot smarter than these people think. They’re not going to be manipulated as easy as they think they are,” he said.
The Hill reports:
Carson’s “A More Perfect Union” and GOP rival Donald Trump’s “Crippled America” — both bestsellers — appeared on a shelf of newly released humor books at a Miami Barnes and Noble in a photo posted online.
GOP aide Robbie Myers, who shared the image first highlighted by The Daily Caller, quipped on Twitter, “clearly no liberal bias.”
