Donald Trump is a polarizing figure in politics. According to a recent poll by the Government Business Council, a substantial amount of government employees would quit if Trump became president.
The poll, which included top ranking government agencies, revealed that 14 percent would quit and an additional 11 percent would consider quitting.
The Hill reports:
Among Democrats, 42 percent said they would consider quitting, while 48 percent said they would not.
Eight percent of Republican federal government workers said they would not work under the real estate tycoon as president.
About 6 in 10 overall would be “embarrassed” to work under President Trump.
The poll was conducted Jan. 20-26 and surveyed 688 federal employees. The margin of error is plus or minus 4 percent.
