Sanders Takes the Checkmark in Colorado’s Caucuses
As Super Tuesday unfolds, Bernie Sanders has managed to net a win in Colorado against his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.
The Hill reports:
ABC and NBC called the race for the Vermont senator.
While rival Hillary Clinton has steamrolled Sanders in the delegate-rich Southern states with heavy African-American populations, Sanders is holding his own elsewhere.
Sanders has already won his home state of Vermont as well as Oklahoma. He is also leading in the Minnesota caucuses, but the race has not been called yet by major news outlets.
Clinton won Tuesday in Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas and Virginia.
