Clinton Leads Sanders in Florida and Ohio, Trails in Illinois

According to the latest polls, Hillary Clinton is leading in Florida and Ohio, but narrowly losing to Bernie Sanders in Illinois.

The Hill reports:

Clinton leads rival Bernie Sanders by 28 points in Florida, 62 to 34 percent, and by 9 points, 52 to 43 percent in Ohio in the CBS News Battleground Tracker poll released Sunday morning.
The Vermont senator, however, narrowly leads the former secretary of State in Illinois, 48 to 46 percent.

Pollsters noted that Sanders leads among white voters in Illinois and is backed by almost one quarter of African-Americans. He also is seen as more honest and trustworthy.

The poll of likely Democratic primary voters has a 4.5 percent margin of error in Florida, a 5 percent margin of error in Ohio and a 5.5 percent margin of error in Illinois.

Clinton leads Sanders by 31 points in Florida, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polls that also shows her ahead of Sanders by almost 18 points in Ohio and almost 14 points in Illinois.
