Arizona Poll: Clinton Beats Trump
The latest Arizona poll by the Phoenix-based Behavior Research Center has revealed that Hillary Clinton would beat Donald Trump in the state.
The Hill reports:
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton tops Trump by 7 points, 42 percent to 35 percent, in Arizona, according to the poll from Phoenix-based Behavior Research Center released Monday.
However, Clinton would lose to Trump’s Republican rival Ted Cruz by 5 points, 43 to 38 percent, and GOP opponent John Kasich by 12 points, 44 to 32 percent, according to the poll.
Democratic hopeful Bernie Sanders tops all three GOP candidates in Arizona: The independent senator leads Trump by 21 points, Cruz by 15 points and Kasich by 14 points.
The survey results come as Cruz and Kasich work to deny Trump delegates in upcoming states, including Indiana next week, to keep Trump from clinching the nomination before the party’s convention in July.
The poll of 564 registered voters in Arizona was conducted April 4-11 via landlines and cellphones with a margin of error of 4.2 points.
