Poll: Trump up by 15 Points in Indiana
The latest Indiana poll by NBC News/WSJ/Marist has placed Donald Trump well ahead of his Republican opponent Ted Cruz.
The Hill reports:
Trump has the support of 49 percent of likely Republican primary voters, compared to Cruz’s 34 percent, in an NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released Sunday morning.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich has 13 percent.
Trump leads Cruz by just 4 points in the Hoosier State, however, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.
Among Democrats, Hillary Clinton leads Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders by 4 points in the new poll, 50 to 46 percent.
The NBC/WSJ/Marist poll, conducted April 26–28, has a margin of error of 3.9 percentage points for Republicans and 4.6 points for Democrats.
