Eric Trump: People Should Have to Watch Benghazi Movie Before Voting
According to Eric Trump, voters should have to watch 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi before voting in November.
“Literally, I was livid after watching the movie. I think in order to vote in this next election, you should have to watch that movie. I was livid,” Trump said Thursday on Fox News while slamming Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s ability to serve as commander in chief.
“She left these guys on a rooftop in the middle of Benghazi getting shot at, having mortars drop on their head because she wouldn’t pick up a phone call in the middle of the night.”
The Hill reports:
Trump said he and his wife watched the movie last weekend.
He said Clinton, who was secretary of State at the time of the 2012 Benghazi attacks, hasn’t done anything for the country’s veterans and has done a “total disservice” for the country.
“Her policy is totally disastrous,” he said.
Clinton went on the attack against Trump’s father, presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, on foreign policy earlier this week. She said Donald Trump has attacked the country’s closest allies and hit Trump for advocating for a return to torture and his calls to ban Muslims from entering the country.
“This is not just divisive rhetoric, my friends, this is dangerous,” she said during a rally Wednesday.
Eric Trump shot back at Clinton, saying his father would be an “amazing” commander in chief.
“I see that little clip and I literally cringe,” he said, referring Clinton’s attacks. “Her foreign policy has literally cost this country trillions of dollars, thousands of lives.”
