Sanders to Recount Campaign in Book
Bernie Sanders said on Thursday that he will write a book about his 2016 White House bid.
“Our Revolution: A Future to Believe in” is scheduled to come out Nov. 15, a week after the presidential election, Thomas Dunne Books told The Associated Press.
The Hill reports:
The book will include the self-described democratic socialist’s policy ideas and reflections on the unexpectedly close Democratic presidential race.
Sanders, 74, won millions of votes in the Democratic primaries, which ended in early June with Hillary Clinton as the party’s presumptive nominee. Sanders endorsed Clinton earlier this week in New Hampshire during the pair’s first joint appearance on the campaign trail.
The publisher told the AP that the book “will be an inside account of this extraordinary campaign, and will also provide a blueprint for future political action. Its message: the fight has just begun.”
