The Hill Reports:
Donald Trump on Saturday pushed back against a New York Times report that described him as “sullen” and struggling to meet the demands of a general-election campaign and fully grasp how he should behave in order to attract voters.
Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, took aim at the Times on Twitter, calling them “failing” and accusing them of being a “newspaper of fiction.”
“I am truly enjoying myself while running for president,” Trump wrote. “The people of our country are amazing – great numbers on November 8th!”
According to the report, Trump’s family and advisers have grown concerned that he has shown he is unable to change his campaign style and that the brash demeanor that won him a following among GOP primary voters could sink him in the general election.
