Maher to Trump Campaign Manager: ‘You Are Enabling Pure Evil’

Talk Show host Bill Maher called Donald Trump “evil” on Friday while stating that Trump campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, was “enabling pure evil” by involving herself in the campaign.

The Hill reports:

Bill Maher is accusing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, of “enabling pure evil.”

“I must say I have mixed emotions. First of all, you’re enabling pure evil,” the “Real Time with Bill Maher” host told Conway on Friday, a longtime guest on the show.

“Come on, Bill,” Conway said with a big smile. “You can do better than that.”

“You’re perhaps the most important person in the world, because you seem to be the only person who’s been able to tame Donald Trump,” Maher continued. “How did you do it?”

As Conway explained her strategy, Maher laughed.

“You’re so good at what you do!” Maher said.

Maher went on the say that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was right when she called a lot of Trump’s supporters “deplorable.”

“Her message is anti-Trump. She doesn’t have a positive message,” Conway said.

“If you were running against Donald Trump, your message would be anti-Trump, too,” Maher responded.

Confronting Conway about Trump’s false statement, Maher asked her if she’s “OK with what your children are going to be asking you about supporting a man, enabling a man who did things like make fun of the handicapped and said [Sen.] John McCain [R-Ariz.] wasn’t a war hero.”

“I already know what Hillary Clinton is going to do. … I can’t support somebody who lies for a living,” she said.

“You just said you can’t support somebody who lies for a living when I read a list of provable lies,” Maher said.
