Bono Slams Trump During Concert

U2 front man Bono slammed Donald Trump at a recent concert over the weekend.

The Hill reports:

During the song “Desire,” video of GOP presidential nominee saying, “What do you have to lose?” played continuously in the background.

It was an excerpt of a highly criticized speech in which Donald Trump tried to court African-American voters.

“Are you ready to gamble your car? Are you ready to gamble your house? Are you ready to gamble the American dream?” Bono asked.

The video of Trump then switches to an excerpt of him saying, “The American Dream is dead.”

“The American dream is alive,” Bono said.

“What do you have to lose? Everything.”

The U2 frontman has been vocal about Trump during the election cycle.

“But Donald Trump is potentially the worst idea that ever happened to America,” he said. “Potentially — it could destroy it,” he said last week on a “CBS This Morning” interview.

“I think he’s hijacked the party, and he’s trying to hijack the idea of America. I think it’s bigger than all of us. This is really dangerous.”
