Trump Billboard in Phoenix Covered in Swastikas

One of Donald Trump’s billboards in Phoenix, Arizona, was covered in swastikas.

The Hill reports:

The sign touting the Republican presidential nominee sits along the I-70 and I-17 interchange there, ABC 15 Arizona said Monday.

ABC 15 Arizona said it is unclear when the symbols of Nazism where first drawn on the billboard.

The graffiti, done with black spray paint, was visible ahead of Trump’s campaign stop in Prescott Valley, Ariz., on Tuesday.

It’s not the first time people have tied Trump or his presidential campaign to Nazism.

A sign using Trump’s name to create a swastika, for example, appeared outside a Super Tuesday polling location in Houston in March.

Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was also defaced with a black swastika drawn last February.

Law enforcement officials in Georgia, meanwhile, investigated multiple images featuring Trump and a swastika in December.

Trump has struggled to distance himself from prominent white nationalists such as former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, who supports his campaign. The Trump campaign has disavowed Duke’s support and denounced hate groups.
