Tracking Poll: Clinton Increases Lead to 3 Points
According to the latest tracking poll, Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump by 3 points.
The Hill reports:
Clinton has 47 percent support to Trump’s 44 percent, Friday’s ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll found.
After Clinton led the poll by 12 points in the Oct. 23 edition, Trump made a huge jump, taking a 1-point lead in Tuesday’s version. But Clinton has gained ground each day since.
The poll finds Clinton holds a significant lead among non-white voters, 76 to 17 percent.
Trump leads among white voters, 53 to 38 percent.
Trump is seen as better trusted to handle corruption, but Clinton is seen narrowly as more trusted to handle healthcare, immigration and terrorism.
The two candidates are tied in their ability to handle the economy.
The poll was conducted from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 among 1,151 likely voters. The margin of error is 3 percentage points.
