Trump on Prosecuting Clinton: ‘I Don’t Want to Hurt’ Her
Donald Trump has not confirmed whether he will have Hillary Clinton prosecuted for her behavior, which may have been illegal.
The Hill reports:
Speaking to “60 Minutes” Sunday night in his first major interview since being elected, Donlad Trump dodged questions about Hillary Clinton.
On the campaign trail, Trump dubbed his Democratic rival “crooked Hillary” and pledged to prosecute her over her use of a private email server while secretary of State.
“She did some bad things, I mean she did some bad things,” Trump said.
But when asked about his previous statements about appointing a special prosecutor to go after Clinton, Trump changed course.
“I don’t want to hurt them, I don’t want to hurt them. They’re, they’re good people,” he said.
“I don’t want to hurt them,” he said again. “And I will give you a very, very good and definitive answer the next time we do ‘60 Minutes’ together.
