Dem Senator Slams Trump for Misspelling in Tweet About China
Senator Chris Murphy is taking issue with the fact that Donald Trump is determining foreign policy via his Twitter account.
The Hill reports:
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) on Saturday morning slammed President-elect Donald Trump for misspelling a key word in a tweet about military activity in the South China Sea.
“This is madness. A 7:30am Saturday escalation of diplomatic crisis w China via Twitter, w misspelling.” Murphy wrote, linking to the now-deleted Trump tweet with the misspelled word.

Earlier Saturday, Trump tweeted calling China’s seizure of a U.S. Navy drone an unprecedented act — except he wrote “unpresidented” the first time.
The president-elect deleted the tweet and reposted it shortly after, but many onlookers saved screenshots of the original version:

On Friday, China seized an unmanned U.S. drone in the South China Sea.
The Pentagon has demanded that the drone be returned.
