‘Saturday Night Live’ Mocks Trump, Putin Relationship
Saturday Night Live continues its streak of mocking Donald Trump, who does not like it.
The Hill reports:
Alex Baldwin last night reprised his “Saturday Night Live” impersonation of President-elect Donald Trump, who in a sketch gets a surprise visit from a shirtless Vladimir Putin, played by Beck Bennett, who comes down the chimney of Trump Tower bearing gifts.
“Mr. Trump — I’m here because your CIA is saying we Russians tried to make you win election,” Beck’s Putin says in the show’s opening.
“All lies, made up by some very bitter people who need to move on,” Baldwin, as Trump, responds.
“So, you trust me more than American CIA?” Putin asks.
“All I know is I won,” Trump replies.
“This guy is bowing my mind,” says Beck’s Putin, who goes on to say that the Russian people are happy Trump won because he was the “best” candidate, the “smartest” candidate… the “Manchurian candidate.”
“I don’t know what that means, but it sounds tremendous,” Baldwin’s Trump responds.
Putin then gives Trump an “Elf on the Shelf,” which Putin says should stay next to Trump’s internet router all year.
When Baldwin’s Trump says he doesn’t have a gift for Putin, Beck replies, “Mr. Trump, you are the gift.”
The real president-elect earlier this month said Baldwin’s impersonation “just can’t get any worse.”
“Sad,” he tweeted, sparking a Baldwin tweet in which the actor said he would stop the impersonation if Trump released his tax returns.
Release your tax returns and I’ll stop.

John Goodman also makes an appearance as Trump’s pick for secretary of State, Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson, in the opening of “SNL’s” latest show, which you can watch in the video player above.
