Trump: UN ‘Just a Club for People to Get Together, Talk’
President-elect Donald Trump criticized the United Nations on Monday, calling them a club of people that get together to “talk and have a good time.”
The United Nations has such great potential but right now it is just a club for people to get together, talk and have a good time. So sad!

The Hill reports:
His comments come on the heels the U.N. Security Council’s contentious 14-0 vote Friday to pass a resolution demanding an end to Israeli settlement building in occupied territories.
Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pressured the Obama administration to veto the resolution, but the U.S. abstained from the vote, allowing the resolution to pass.
Israel’s ambassador to the United States told CNN on Monday that the country has “evidence” that the Obama administration colluded with the Security Council to pass the resolution.
He said officials plan to share the evidence with the president-elect.
“We will present this evidence to the new administration through the appropriate channels, and if they want to share it with the American people they are welcome to do it,” Israel’s ambassador told CNN on Monday.
