President Obama was in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday evening for the wedding of a White House aide, according to the White House.
Marvin Nicholson, the White House travel director and a frequent golf partner of Obama, is marrying Helen Pajcic, the daughter of Steve Pajcic, a Florida lawyer who hosted Obama in 2007 for a fundraiser, according to the Florida Times-Union.
Obama attended the event alongside outgoing Secretary of State John Kerry, according to pool reports.
The president has attended weddings of White House employees before: Obama was among the guests at the wedding of then-White House chef Sam Kass, who married MSNBC host Alex Wagner in 2014.
Saturday’s wedding is one of the last trips Obama will take as president. During his flight to Florida, reporters spotted Obama watching the Oakland Raiders play the Houston Texans during the AFC wild card game.
