Jon Stewart Tears Into Rush Limbaugh: ‘F*** You For Mocking Missing Nigerian Girls’

On Monday, Daily Show host Jon Stewart discussed the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, saying his two choices were either to side with activist Malala Yousafzai, who is one of the leading voices in pushing for a rescue of the 300 missing Nigerian girls held by Boko Haram, or to side with Rush Limbaugh who called the gestures of solidarity “pathetic.”

Stewart said “so that’s our choice: Malala, or Rush, the quivering rage heap who is apparently desperately trying to extinguish any remaining molecule of humanity that might still reside in his Chernobyl-esque superfund clean-up site that was his soul. Who should we chose? I don’t know, why don’t we tweet our votes to hashtag #F***YouRush.”

Stewart hit Limbaugh, saying that even al Qaeda had condemned the kidnappings. Stewart said “You know, there’s not a lot of times you’re going to get a Jewish guy to go, ‘I agree with al Qaeda.’ But wow, the group that never saw something full of civilians it didn’t want to blow up is saying ‘Take it down a notch.’”

Stewart then turned to Boko Haram, mocking them for “trying to convince the world that they’re such badasses.”

Stewart said “compared to a teenager who knows that her desire for an education could get her dragged into a snake-infested jungle to be sold as a bride by some demented, stick-chewing cartoon villain, but still gets up and goes to class every day fully aware of that danger, compared to their courage, I’d say Boko Haram is a bunch of little girls.”
