Donald Sterling Girlfriend V. Stiviano Beaten by 2 Men in Racial Attack
Donald Sterling’s former girlfriend V. Stiviano was reportedly attacked by two men shouting racial slurs outside of a restaurant in New York on Sunday.
According to her attorney Mac Nehoray, Stiviano was leaving a restaurant when two men “punched her on the right side of her face several times.”
He says “they were about 5-foot-7 and they knew exactly who she was. They began to hit her and called her the N-word.”
According to a guard at Gansevoort Hotel, right next to the restaurant, Stiviano was in an argument with a few of her friends when two strangers got involved.
He said “eventually, hands started being thrown. It looks like the guys in the group were defending the girls. In the chaos, I did not see her get popped in the face, but it wouldn’t surprise me if she did because it was crazy out there.”
Nicholas Pietro, who runs the restaurant, said “one of the patrons who saw the whole thing said they saw one guy punch her in the face out of nowhere. So they got into a tussle and she tried to get away. Some of the people tried to break up the fight. One of the guys who was trying to beat her up ended up really bloody.”
According to Nehoray, Stiviano escaped serious injury but “one side of her face is extremely red.”
Stiviano is scheduled to appear on Anderson Cooper’s CNN show to discuss her role in the Los Angeles Clippers scandal in which owner Donald Sterling was recorded saying racist remarks to her and was ultimately forced to sell the team.
