Anti-Environmentalists Troll Climate Change Activists by Putting Smokestacks on Cars, Blowing Soot and Emissions

Anti-environmentalists are spending thousands of dollars to reconfigure their pickup trucks to blow black smoke and emissions in a protest they’ve called “rolling coal” in an effort to, well, troll climate change activists.

The group reconfigures their cars, often spending thousands of dollars to do so, to make their vehicle spew thick black smoke into the air and at passing-by cars.

The Rollin’ Coal Community Facebook page is up to 15,241 likes.

One way these people are reconfiguring their car is by increasing the amount of fuel that goes into the car engine, causing the fuel to combust improperly and create black soot.

“It’s just fun,” says Robbie, a 25-year-old South Carolina resident. “Just driving and blowing smoke and having a good time.”

Coal Rollers call the soot their vehicles emit “Prius repellent.”

“I run into a lot of people that really don’t like Obama at all,” an unnamed store owner who sells kits to rig trucks with smokestacks said. “If he’s into the environment, if he’s into this or that, we’re not. I hear a lot of that. To get a single stack on my truck – that’s my way of giving them the finger. You want clean air and a tiny carbon footprint? Well, screw you.”

Never mind the fact that the American Cancer Society has linked diesel exhaust to many health problems, including cancer.

And never mind the fact that that guy just said “screw you” to people who want “clean air.”

If Obama wants to affect climate change, he should come out as a science denier and the GOP will lower emissions by next weekend.
