VIDEO: Cop Says ‘If Obama Doesn’t Follow The Constitution, We Don’t Have To’

In a shocking display, a New Jersey police officer was caught saying that his police department does not have to uphold the law because “Obama doesn’t.”

Steve Wronko went to the Helmetta Police Department to file a complaint about the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter which he says is filled with nepotism and corruption after Helmetta Mayor Nancy Martin chose her son to run the facility.

“I’ve made objections about what’s going on at the shelter over there,” Wronko tells the cop in the video. “My First and Fourth Amendment rights were violated, my civil rights were violated.”

“Obama just decimated the freakin’ Constitution, so I don’t give a damn,” the cop brazenly replies. “If he doesn’t follow the Constitution, we don’t have to.”

At the end of the video, police officers show up to kick Wronko out of the building and the original officer is heard saying, “Either you get out or you’re gonna get locked up.”

Matt Agorist of the Free Thought Project opines that, “Let that sit in for a minute. A cop, knowing that he was being filmed, just admitted to NOT following the law that he swore an oath to uphold… Maybe this instance, captured on film for the whole world to see, will serve as a wake up call to those who may still be asleep. Please share this so that it can help others see the leviathan for what it is, a gang of thieves write large.”

What was the point of complaining to the police in the first place? What specific law does Mr. Wronko allege was broken that the police would have any jurisdiction over? Rights violations, if there were any, are civil matters rather than criminal, and thus not under police jurisdiction. The police officer’s opinion about what President Obama has or has not done, as ridiculous as it is, is irrelevant and proves only that he is not an Obama fan. What, exactly, are you alleging?

Actually, you are close, but not quite. The “police officer” stops being one, when he starts deciding that he doesn’t have to follow/enforce the law. At that point he would be refusing to do his job.

And he quit so he doesn’t get unemployment insurance, but some red state loving his views will hire him!

You have to remember…This is New Jersey…a state run by a “man” who has no fricking clue as to what his people are doing…so they don’t have to obey the law and can always find a scapegoat in our Prez!!!!
