Glenn Beck Stands Up and Applauds Parents Who Refuse to Vaccinate Their Kids
During Wednesday’s pre-show, Glenn Beck stood up and applauded a report stating that vaccination rates in wealthy California neighborhoods have dropped dramatically.
“I think that there is a lot to be said for being cautious on what we are jamming into our children’s arms by law, all the time,” Beck said.
Never mind the fact that the drop in vaccination rates is directly correlated to the resurgence of diseases like whooping cough and measles. But why mention that when you can just blame it on illegal immigrant children?
“Whenever you put medication in your body, there is an equal and opposite,” Beck said. “It happens. You’re putting it in to fix this organ or to fix this flaw, it’s going to push something else out of the way.”
Beck’s producer, Tiffany Siegel, did mention that the drop in vaccination rates is leading to outbreaks of contagious disease but Beck just shrugged it off.
“It seems like we have an outbreak of Ebola,” Beck said dismissively. “Disease is going to come. I’m not saying we don’t use modern science. I’m not saying I’m against all vaccinations. I’m saying that we consider the arrogance of doctors and governments jamming needles in our arms and our children’s arms and forcing us to do these things. There’s a balance in all things.”
