‘Islamic Jew-Hatred Is In The Quran’: NYC Approves Shocking Anti-Muslim Subway Ads
Notorious Freedom Defense Initiative co-founder Pamela Geller is launching a New York City subway and bus ad campaign featuring incendiary anti-Islamic images sure to offend many straphangers.
The ads, which will appear on 100 MTA buses and at two major subway stations, warn of “the problem with jihad.”
“Yesterday’s moderate is today’s headline,” says one ad, featuring a photo of the James Foley execution next to a photo of his suspected killer rapping in his past life before he joined ISIS. “Executioner who beheaded reporter before he became a jihadist,” says the first caption. “Executioner who beheaded reporter after becoming devout,” says the other.
“It’s not Islamophobia, it’s Islamorealism,” the ad says.
Another says, “Islamic Jew-Hatred: It’s In The Quran. Two thirds of all US aid goes to Islamic countries. Stop the hate. End all aid to Islamic countries. IslamicJewHatred.com.”
The ad also features a photo of “Adolph Hitler and his staunch ally, the leader of the Muslim world, Haj Amin al-Husseini,” according to the caption.
Another ad says, “Hamas is ISIS. Hamas is Al-Qaeda. Hamas is Boko Haram. Hamas is CAIR in America. Jihad is Jihad.”
The MTA was forced to allow the ads after a judge ruled that rejecting them would violate Geller’s First Amendment rights.
“If you read the court decision on this, our hands are tied,” said MTA spokesperson Adam Lisberg.
“Geller is a known hater and there’s no law in this country that forces her to tell the truth,” said Corey Saylor, a spokesperson for the Council on American-Islamic Relations. “Defamation law being what it is in this country, we understand it would be difficult [to sue her].”
