Ann Coulter: ‘President Trump’ is Proof ‘God Hasn’t Given Up On America Yet’
Speaking at Donald Trump’s Iowa rally in Dubuque, Ann Coulter threw heavy praise on the Republican presidential candidate, even citing his leading candidacy as proof that “God hasn’t given up on America.”
Introducing Trump at the rally, Coulter told the audience she “felt like she’s dreaming…since Donald Trump announced that he’s running for president.”
“I love the idea of the ‘Great Wall of Trump,” the conservative author said. “I want to have a two-drink minimum, make it a big worldwide tourist attraction and every day live drone shows when anyone tries to cross the border.”
Coulter then compared Trump to Joseph in the Bible, with his persecutors apparently being the Republican establishment.
“Now I think it’s like Joseph in the Bible,” Coulter said. “He had to be sold into slavery, imprisoned, betrayed so that he eventually could save the Jews. Maybe Mitt Romney had to lose and maybe we had to give the Republicans one more chance in 2014 and maybe Mitch McConnell and John Boehner had to betray us once again to pave the way for President Donald Trump. God hasn’t given up on America yet.”
