Kentucky Clerk Refusing to Issue Same Sex Marriage Licenses Married 4 Times, Cheated on Husband
She may opposed same-sex marriage on Biblical principles but she has no problem betraying the Lord when it comes to her own sex life.
Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis, the official refusing to issue all marriage licenses in opposition to the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage has been married four times and cheated on her husband, the U.S. News & World Report notes.
Davis is currently married to her fourth husband after divorcing her previous spouses in 1994, 2006, and 2008.
The magazine also notes that, “She gave birth to twins five month after divorcing her first husband. They were fathered by her third husband but adopted by her second.”
Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel, which is consulting Davis on legal matters, defended the clerk saying, “It’s not really relevant, it’s something that happened in her past. She was 180 degrees changed.”
The ACLU is currently pushing to have Davis help in contempt of court for violating the Supreme Court ruling.
Even Antonin Scalia, who was staunchly against the decision to effectively legalize gay marriage, says Davis must start issuing marriage licenses or find a new job.
