Couple Behind Walmart ‘Revolution’ Shooting Linked to Bundy Ranch, White Supremacists
On Sunday, an armed couple descended on a Las Vegas pizza parlor and killed two cops. Then, shouting about ‘revolution’ they walked into a nearby Walmart where they shot an innocent bystander before taking their own lives.
Now, it appears the couple may have had ties to the Bundy Ranch and white supremacists.
According to one report, the male shooter – who dresses up like Peter Pan to earn money as a street performer – told his neighbor that he had been kicked off the Bundy Ranch.
Carol Bundy, the rancher’s wife, however, has denied that such dangerous people would be at the ranch.
“I have not seen or heard anything from the militia and others who have came to our ranch that would, in any way, make me think they had an intent to kill or harm anyone,” she said, claiming she has no knowledge of the couple.
Whether or not the suspects – whose names are yet to be released to the public – were actually at Bundy Ranch or not though, it is clear that they wanted to be, boasting about participating in the Bundy Ranch standoff and apparently strongly influenced by the talk of revolution and right-wing rhetoric coming from the armed protesters at the ranch.
During Sunday’s rampage, they also staged their own armed protest, shouting about revolution against the federal government and draping a familiar Tea Party and right-wing symbol, the ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ Gadsden flag on their victims during their siege.
The killers were also attracted to the white supremacists movement and were found to have swastika symbols in their possession.
Neighbors even reported the deadly duo proudly handed out white pride fliers and seemed to be inspired by other mass shootings as a way to prove their ‘point.’
“They were handing out white-power propaganda and were talking about doing the next Columbine,” Brandon Moore, a neighbor of the couple said.
Police are currently investigating the couple’s ties to both the Bundy ranchers and white supremacist groups. They are yet to publicly announce what they believe precipitated the shooting that took the lives of three innocent people.
In the meantime, John Prager of the Americans Against the Tea Party, is convinced that the link to the Bundy Ranch is no accident and proves just how deadly the armed supporters can be.
“Cliven Bundy’s supporters are currently being investigated for bomb threats, making menacing statements toward government officials, and pointing weapons at and threatening police. Now, it seems, the government’s failure to do something about these violent, unstable terrorists has reached the next step: actual murder.”
