We're a hawk on the issues.

Even Meghan McCain Won’t Be Tuning Into the Sarah Palin Channel

Sarah Palin has been hawking a new subscription-based TV show that she promises will offer an uncensored look at the ‘truth’, free from liberal media bias and all that darn political correctness you see a ‘lamestream’ outlets.

“This is a news channel that really is a lot more than news,” Palin said in her video promoting her new channel. “This is a community where we’re going to be able to share ideas and discuss the issues of the day. And we’re going to find solutions.”

As it turns out, however, even the daughter of Palin’s former running mate won’t be tuning in.

Meghan McCain, who appears on the Pivot show ‘Take Part Live’ said she has no intention of shelling out nearly $10 a month to hear Sarah Palin talk.

“I am not going to subscribe to Sarah Palin’s $9.95 per month,” McCain said. “I got all the Sarah Palin I need for one lifetime.”

McCain, who remains a staunch Republican, also criticized Palin’s subscription service as little more than a glorified blog with videos thrown in.

“I don’t know how this is different than a blog with video posts,” McCain stressed, unimpressed. “It didn’t look like a video channel. Glenn Beck has the Blaze, which is an actual channel you can turn to on television.”

McCain’s negative review points out just how far Palin’s political star has fallen since she was plucked from Alaska and on to the national stage in 2008.

Today, many prominent Republicans have distanced themselves from Palin and her crazy-talk, including Meghan’s dad, who after Palin called for Obama’s impeachment politely but firmly said that his former VP pick and he are no longer on the same page.

“I respect always Sarah Palin’s views, but my particular view is that we should devote our energies to regaining the majority in the Senate,” Senator McCain said earlier this month, joining a number of Republicans no longer singing Palin’s praises. ”I saw the impeachment scenario with former President Clinton and it was not a good thing to do.”

Palin’s TV channel has also received quite a pounding in the Twitterverse, even getting panned by some of her own fans.
