Right-Wing Author Wants Southern States to Secede and Form a New Nation Called ‘Reagan’

A right-wing author has a plan to rid conservatives from all those minorities, gay people and liberals’ influence.

He thinks a handful of southern states should secede from the United States and form their new nation, which they will call ‘Reagan,’ at least at first.

Douglas MacKinnon, a one-time Reagan advisor, said if you look closely at history, you will realize that the south already legally seceded but then were bullied by Lincoln to re-join the union during the ‘War Between the States.’

Those greedy northerners with Lincoln at the helm, according to MacKinnon, “waged an illegal war that was in fact not declared against the South after the South basically did what we’re talking about in this book now in terms of peacefully, legally and constitutionally leaving the union.”

In a recent column, he also explained just  how much of a mistake it was to listen to those pesky Union Northerners, because it has led to the gay-friendly, morally bankrupt nation America is today.

A growing number of our leaders seem determined to erase our borders, do away with the rule-of-law, expand the nanny state into a theology, bankrupt or punish American companies in the name of fighting climate change, do away with the 2nd Amendment, censor or demonize the history of western civilization and replace it with multiculturalism, give every kid a trophy and turn them into wimps, continue to support the completely unfunded public-employee pensions which are destroying the financial solvency of cities, counties, and states across our nation, add billions every day to our $17 trillion in debt, destroy our health-care system to substitute socialized medicine, vilify fossil fuels, and attack all faith in God with a particular and unhinged bias against the Christian faith.

So far, however, those from Texas will have to wait for their invite to became part of ‘Reagan.’

According to MacKinnon, the red state home of Ted Cruz and Louie Gohmert is too multicultural and “there have been a number of incursions into Texas and other places from some of the folks in Mexico,” making it ineligible for his conservative homeland.

South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, though, are already in.

Hysterical. It would make it very convenient, as then we’d all know positively which states not to visit. Hopefully they’ll construct a big, tall wall — you know, like East Berlin.

Maybe they could call it The Jim Crow Wall.

    Make it so.

They better have lots and lots and lots of ready cash to buy out those of us who would never, ever live in a seceded state. I will not give up my property to anyone without appropriate compensation!! They should also be prepared to never be allowed back into the Union, even when they find that those federal dollars, agencies, protections and the military are really very much needed!!

I think it’s a great idea. They can start from scratch. No assistance with anything from their former Country (cause that would be a handout). Please announce the new haven soon so all the nice folks who want to live there can get the heck out of my wicked fun multicultural neighborhood.

Those Southern sports teams would have to exist without government handouts and pay to be broadcast on the networks for their rival country The U S of A. That might put a little crimp in “Reagan’s” GDP.

And just like Reagan was a b-movie guy, they would be a b-movie country. It would at least increase the overall IQ of the remainder of America!

Let them do this, southern states are the poorest.in the US. Without help. they. would be destitute. The people would suffer ad they do now
