Dennis Rodman is No ‘Super Spy’ And He is Not Going to Talk to ISIS Either

Just days ago, Dennis Rodman claimed credit for securing the release of North Korean prisoners Kenneth Bae, all because he wrote a letter to the basketball loving despot Kim Jong un that began, ““My dear friend for life…”

Now, it seems Rodman has even bigger fish to fry. He plans to talk ISIS out of being so ‘terroristy’ or at least based on some dubious reports that he has left the country on an ISIS mission.

In the meantime, John McCain literally laughed at the idea that Rodman had anything to do with the release of U.S. citizen and missionary Kenneth Bae.

“I’m not sure that Dennis Rodman is well trained to gather intelligence,” McCain told TMZ.com, making it clear he did not think Rodman was America’s secret weapon against hostile forces. “I have no idea what brought those prisoners back.”

According to the just gone viral report, though, Rodman thought all that after his North Korean success, all ISIS needed was a good talking-to and a bit of basketball love to change their ways.

“There’s a lot of things they are doing that just ain’t cool. I’ll tell them what I think and maybe they’ll change their methods,” the article read.

“I think my basketball skills will help a lot too, boxing people out of the paint at times when it counts, like the 4th quarter. I was thinking about getting a sweet ISIS tattoo to let them know that I mean business,” Rodman supposedly added.

Rodman’s representatives have since has since made it clear to the Independent that he has no plans for an ISIS tattoo or a trip to the Middle East and the article, which originally was published two months ago, was just a spoof.

Satire or not, though, Facebookers shared the story over 70,000 times, especially this past week, and many cheered Rodman on.

Some, even used Rodman’s ‘bravery’ to shame Obama.

“Rodman would make a better President than Obama any day of the week,” a user named ‘suitcase’ wrote. “Rodman is from the streets, and not some fancy Hawaiian private school for sissies. I hope Rodman runs against Hillary in the upcoming primaries.”
