Jimmy Swaggart’s Son Tells Flock Gay People Want to Behead Christians

Jimmy Swaggart is best remembered as the crybaby televangelist whose ministry was rocked with a number of sexual scandals in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Today, the Swaggart clan maintain a much more low-key ministry than they did back in Jimmy’s heyday, but they still seem eager to stir up controversy and shout their brand of fire and brimstone Pentacostalism.

On a recent episode of “Frances and Friends,” filmed for Swaggart’s SonlifeTV, son Donnie Swaggart got on a role about the group he sees as real ‘sexual sinners’, all those gay people.

As he explained to the viewers, being gay may be bad enough, but all those gay activists are banding together to destroy and even kill Christians.

In fact, according to Swaggart, gay people hate real Christians so much that, if given the chance, they would chop people’s heads off just like ISIS.

“All of this is to shut the Bible up,” Swaggart declared. “They want the Bible gone. And I’m going to make a statement: These people that are trying to do this in Houston, the only difference between them and ISIS, those thugs in Iraq, is those here cannot chop our heads off. That’s the only difference. The heart is the same. The heart is the same. If they could silence us that way to intimidate others, that’s exactly what they would do”

Of course, Donnie will tell you that his message – just like his dads – is straight from God.

“Called by God, Donnie, in his own inimitable style, brings the message of Pentecost to those bound by cold, formal, lifeless religion, to reintroduce the Pentecostal fire and the Pentecostal way of life to those who have never gone beyond the initial baptism experience,” the revivalist and campmeeting preacher said on his webpage, where he stresses his life and his words stay true  the “tremendous call that God has placed on his life.”
